    Udaipur City Railway Station has six platforms and a total of eight tracks. It is situated on the Udaipur Road, around 2.5 km from the city center, and around 25 km from Udaipur Airport.

    The airport is named after Maharana Pratap who was a Maharana (ruler) of the princely state of Mewar, in north-western India. The airstrip was used for the first time when a 4-seater Piper Super Cub landed in the airport on 16 November 1957.

    Rana Pratap Nagar railway station is the second railway station in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, besides the main Udaipur City railway station. The railway station is under the administrative control of North Western Railway of Indian Railways.
